Our Laser Cutting Services
Laser cutting is a highly precise, non-contact thermal subtraction process where a high-power laser beam melts, burns, or vaporizes thermoplastic materials along a programmed path. Guided by advanced CNC software, plastic laser cutting delivers ultra-narrow kerfs, intricate detailing, and exceptional design flexibility with zero mechanical stress on the material.
We professionally provide premium plastic sheet laser cutting services. Utilizing state-of-the-art CO2 CNC laser cutting machines and precise multi-axis positioning systems, we process high-quality material Acrylic (PMMA). We can custom-manufacture high-precision acrylic displays, acrylic boxes & organizers, architectural models, intricate gaskets, industrial stencils, signs, and custom lettering.
We support custom designs according to your drawings (STEP, CAD, DXF, DWG, AI) or samples. From fast prototyping to high-volume contract manufacturing, we offer a true one-stop service including secondary plastic engraving, edge polishing, and final assembly.

How It Works (The Laser Cutting Process)
Our automated CNC laser cutting workflow ensures that your digital blueprints are converted into flawless physical parts with minimal material waste.
- File Preparation & Nesting: Importing your CAD drawings (DXF/DWG/AI) and optimizing the layout to maximize material utilization.
- Material Setup: Selecting the premium plastic sheet (e.g., clear or colored acrylic) and securely positioning it on the laser honeycomb bed.
- CNC Laser Programming: Adjusting the laser power, focal length, and cutting speed parameters specifically calibrated for the material type and thickness.
- Precision Cutting: The focused CO2 laser beam executes the programmed path, creating smooth, sharp, and narrow cuts cleanly.
- Quality Control & Finishing: Post-cut sorting, flame or diamond polishing if required, dimensional inspection, and protective masking application.
Materials & Technical Specifications
Acrylic (PMMA): The premier material for laser cutting. It yields a crystal-clear, “laser-polished” edge directly out of the machine.
Wood / MDF / Plywood: Ideal for decorative panels, displays, and structural components.
Fabric / Leather / Paper: Perfect for precision templates, fashion elements, and industrial gaskets.
Note: Polycarbonate (PC) and PVC are generally NOT recommended for laser cutting due to heavy edge charring, yellowing, and toxic fume emissions. For PC, we strongly recommend our CNC Milling or Waterjet services.
Thickness & Size Range
Thickness Range: 1mm – 20mm (Varies depending on material density and laser wattage)
Maximum Cutting Bed Size: Standard up to 1220 X 2440mm (Custom large-format cutting available)
Cutting Tolerance: High-precision accuracy up to ±0.1mm.
Applications
Retail & Custom Displays: Luxury acrylic cosmetics stands, jewelry display risers, and point-of-sale fixtures.
Signage & Branded Lettering: 3D laser-cut acrylic logo letters, LED backlit signs, and corporate plaques.
Industrial Components: Custom spacer gaskets, control panel overlays, and machinery stencils.
Architectural & Design Models: High-fidelity scale models, structural templates, and intricate artistic screens.

FAQ
Q: Can Polycarbonate (PC) sheets be laser cut?
A: Laser cutting is not ideal for Polycarbonate because the high heat causes the edges to burn, discolor, and turn yellowish-brown. For a clean finish on Polycarbonate sheets, we recommend our specialized Milling & Grooving or routing services.
Q: What is the main difference between Laser Cutting and CNC Routing?
A: Laser cutting uses a thermal laser beam, making it perfect for complex, intricate details and giving acrylic a natural polished edge. CNC routing uses a physical spinning cutting bit, which is better suited for thick materials, heavy-gauge plastics (like PC, HDPE), and processes that require precise step-down grooves or multi-depth milling.
Q: What files do you require for custom laser cutting?
A: We accept standard vector file formats including DXF, DWG, AI, and STEP. Please ensure all text paths are converted to outlines before sending.
Q: Will the edges of laser-cut acrylic be sharp?
A: While the edges are perfectly flat and clear, they can sometimes be sharp to the touch. If your application involves direct human contact (like retail displays or handles), please let us know, and we can apply an edge-rounding or polishing treatment.
Q: Do you accept small trial orders?
A: Yes! Because laser cutting does not involve high mold setups, we warmly welcome low-volume prototypes as well as large-scale production runs.
